Collie Miners Credit Union Ltd (CMCU) provided standard banking products and services to the miners and their families, and the local community. It had 2,500 members and $40 million in assets. The company was established in 1969 as Collie Miners' Co-operative Credit Union Society and changed its name to Collie Miners Credit Union in 1984. CMCU was located in Collie, a town in the South West region of Western Australia.
In 2015, CMCU merged with Maritime Mining & Power Credit Union (MMPCU). The merged entity retained the name Collie Miners locally, and operated as a division of MMPCU.
In March 2017, Maritime, Mining & Power Credit Union changed its name to become Unity Bank Limited.
